Congrats on the pickup, very nice design and I think you've invested in a good player.

i agree with you justin if it's a manufactured letter

i hope it's a real one - that way its worth challenging him to a game of HORSE for the card ;)

Nice pickup. Not sure if I would have done the trade, though LeBron has plenty of autos out there you can pick up again.

Those manufactured patches are too common, even if they are /10.

Nice card, but I don't think i would've kept the bron, especially for a manufactured patch! I'm guessing it's manufactured, correct me if I am wrong, but there isn't a "K" on Rose's jersey.

Thanks guys, It is manufactured full name so 11 letters in Derrick Rose but decided that i have a few other lebrons that i like and was thinking of giving up on the clearly authentic auto chase :( guess i def am now

@crackberry..... I willl need a couple of days to consider your offer

Nice pick up there mate. Personally i wouldn't have traded the cards you did for it but saying that if you were going to offload them anyway you now have a nice card for your PC.

Thanks everyone

Some interesting views there :)

The Team leader was a double and the dwight was a freebie fm a comp on another forum :D
and I have 4 other Lebron auto's that are alot better so i thought a low numbered Rose auto from his RC year was worth grabbing for now ;)

Thanks for looking

Since you put it that way i may well have done the same thing. Pity it wasn't an SP RC auto patch though, they are sex!:D

Phhewwwwwwww, that Derrick Rose card you traded for is an absolute beauty Terry!!:p:drool:

If you want my opinion as to wether it was a good decision or not, to be honest with you I'd say maybe it wasn't. Let me tell you why.

At the moment, I can see where you're coming from and what made you go ahead with the trade. But in 6 months time (maybe even less) or so, the LeBron James Autographed card alone may just aswell get you the same amount as this Rose Autographed Patch card. Then you also got the MJ Team Leader insert you traded aswell which is a definete $100+ or so sale any given day. The Dwight Howard is nothing too big to worry about either, so don't even take that card into consideration at this point.

But that's my opinion anyway mate. And how I reached this conclusion is simple, I thought of it like this:

If I had a choice to buy the cards in question (and assuming they were for exactly the same price being sold), would I buy the three cards you traded for (MJ Team Leader, LJ Auto, D-12 Auto) OR would I buy the Rose Auto Patch?? I simply went for your three cards, and that was without even thinking about it really.

But like I said, at the moment Derrick Rose's cards are selling for an arm and a leg yeah, but how long is that going to last???????? [-X

Very nice pickup yeah, don't get me wrong. I can't stop starring at it (Rose), and in fact I'm going to download it, print it, and get it to sleep beside me on my pillow, LOL .

Regards, Mikey

I stopped collecting NBA cards a fair while ago so I'm not up to date with all the fancy letter cards and such so can someone answer a question for me?

The card states "Full Name" at the bottom so I'm guessing you can get the full name and the card is numbered "4/6", the letter appears to be a "K" yet the name "Derrick" has "7" letters in it

The card looks nice but I'm just a little unsure what it all means.

Hi there,

The reason why the numbering doesn't match the amount of letters in the "ROSE" surname is because these cards come in a few different types, this one pictured is the "FULL NAME". The other type is "CITY NAME".

Now I'm not too sure as to why the serial numbering doesn't match this FULL NAME type card when it comes to the amount of letters in Derrick Rose's name (which is 7), but it maybe because each letter of DERRICK is serial numbered to /6. So there would be /6 cards produced of the letter D, /6 of the letter E, /6 of the letter R, another /6 of the letter R, and so on and so forth.

If anybody else can shed some light as to this querie that'll be great, as I'm now a bit curious aswell as to what is exactly the correct information regarding these RECRUITING CLASS Letterman Patch Autographed cards.

Regards

Nice pickup Tezza!

not the best deal but if ya got a double of MJ, and 4 other brons then maybe i wouldve done the same.

cardfrog - the numbers do not correspond to amount of letters in the name, rather the amount of full sets there are.. ie there is 6 of every letter so 6 people could theoretically put together a full name set...

So it looks like I was partly on the money when I said there would be /6 cards of each letter produced in my previous post. Thanks trdspl for clearing that up.
