I guess it really depends on how much you want the card for your PC. Honestly if it meant paying 2-3 dollars extra for a card you really want to know that its yours, then I would personally do it.
I think its a much cheaper option in the long run than spending a lot of your time and effort trying to find the same card for a couple of dollars cheaper! I guess it all depends on what value you place on your time?

Matt, my first option is actually to trade for this card since I have a lot of cards in my tradelist. If I am to buy it, I don't want to spend too much on it if I know in the long run, someone will have it and would trade it to me... I think the fun comes in spending the effort and finding the card at the right price or getting it through the preferred avenue.
It's just like my Shaq collection, if I buy every card I come across because I don't have it, not only would I be poor, but part of the fun of collecting would have been lost...
