How's everyone been going with this one? I'm only on the 2nd Island, hardly play it these days.
Chucked it on again last night, and mucked around. Got shot to sh!t on a mission, so went cruising around.
Found some Helicopter Tours, and managed to jack one, and go flyin' round!! HA HA, love it!!! Only I decided to check out the 3rd Island... I couldnt lose the cops after that, no matter where I went, they couldnt see me, but I couldnt lose them!
I crash landed trying to bail out near the Statue Of Happiness (there's a secret there if y'all can do it!!!!).
Happy gamin...

I clocked the **** out of it twice and haven't thrown it on in around 3 or 4 months. The second time was for the achievement so I just did that as fast as possible, think it was a 20 or 30 hour limit.
You guys really gotta finish off the story mode if you get time and have interest, it has to be the best GTA story mode out so far with more than one outcome for various scenarios, I won't go into that and it doesn't really spoil anything. Might pay to save another file to come back to later if you're on the third Island.

I'll probably play it again soon. Did you know you can save a helicopter in your car spot out the front of your apartments???
I parked one so bloody awesome last night. The rear rotars sit above my super cool looking Sentinal.
I love this character (Niko) more so than previous GTAs, so can't wait to get further in the game.
But as Colin mentioned, just too many games out at the moment to play just 1 all the time.

Didn't know about the helicopter saves, but makes sence now that I think about it. You're right about the game releases right now, there's heaps!
I'm getting Gears 2 today (seems like I'm the only one excited about that
), NBA 2k9 which I'll finally pick up this weekend and then Guitar Hero World Tour in a week or so, not to mention the other games already noted and a few more I'm waiting for that aren't too far off; Call of Duty - World at War, Afro Samurai, Ghostbusters, Project Origin (FEAR II), Aliens: Colonial Marines, Resident Evil 5... there's heaps upcoming and heaps already new in store, waiting on Force unleashed to drop in price and a few others I might get down the line.Get back into GTA IV when you can though mate, might even enjoy the ending more saving it for a rainy day.

Up to the 3rd Island now, just completed Three Leaf Clover mission.
Went up North of the 3rd Island, and found me a Sultan RS..... LOVE IT!!!
If ya'll havent seen one yet, get one, or look for one on Youtube. Has a turbo in it, with a working BOV. Fantastic!!!

Hey, what's this new episode that they've released, 1600 points is over $25 bucks, so is it really worth it? Turns my $100 game into $125 now.

well its a additional mission, apparently it has full frontal penis. Everyone was going off about it on game sites. I don't see what is so appealing about it haha.
To me it is just more GTA, shoot, speed and rob.
I had no idea about that, wasn't expecting it at all but when it happened I couldn't help but laugh at the way they did it.
A little about the actual length of the game below, judge for yourself if it's worth it. No actual gameplay story spoilers though.
[hide]It's worth getting, I got 10 hours gameplay out of it and finished it at around 73% completion so I think it's worth the $25 considering I'd probably get another 3 hours out of it plus x amount of hours just messing around. To add to that I think there's new multiplayer content but I haven't really checked that out yet. Some of the new bikes are insane. Cut scenes are great too, they've gone all out once again with the animation and voice acting.[/hide]
I'll be getting the next one they release for sure.

Didnt read all the posts, but i was the only one dissapointed with this game?
I have played every GTA and the hype around this one was amazing but once it was released i was really let down. Less Cars, Guns, Missions, Area. Yes it was beautiful to play but i was doing the same thing i had done in the last 5. Every media outlet though was throwing 10/10 at it which i thought was insane!
Anyway i ended up finishing it and trading it in.

So there's only AN additional mission, but has new content (bikes, etc?) Could be worth it I spose.
I'll play GTA until the next one comes out, we'll all do it. New one comes out, we start on that. Not many people would go back to playing San Andreas or Vice City, etc after playing GTA IV.
