When you buy products, sometimes the auto cards are not available for packing out at that time so they put in a "redemption" card for you to redeem for the specified card.

Sometimes these cards that you are supposed to be redeemed never make their way back to UD or take too long. In 05/06 Paul Pierce had all his Exquisites stolen. Some were later recovered and redeemed but not all.

For those who have redeemed for the cards which are not available, they send you out a "replacement" card.

Since they do not make many octos, what they should do is for a future product with an octo auto in it, they should either save one for you, or make another "special" redemption card for you guys with redeemed octos that were never made.
