I emailed them what i wanted to get replaced at least 3 months ago, from my understanding it might be a replacement from the 8 cards i have outstanding.

So UD didn't specify to you what these replacement boxes were actually replacing? Does your redemption page on the UD website tell you what is now "complete"?

sorry to sound stupid but I havent collected cards in years until recent, are they equivalent to those lottery exchange type things that you use to find in packs in the 90s?
