Yeah I think your choice of words let you down in the previous post. Lesson learnt and thats a great act offering a refund if the buyer wants it. This thread proves the scammers in the hobby are the complete scum of the hobby and someone always gets burnt till the cards are out of circulation. Add to this legitimate cards are questioned due to the lack of faith by collectors as scammers have removed all faith.
 
Maybe we do something like that ... put in some $$ each so at least highgate isn't left completely out of pocket and let's get rid of this card for good! Get Rhys to do one of his music videos! :lol:
 
Can we come up with seven things we hate about the card, the fleer actions and scammers? Then Rhys can do a rap parody of Cirus' 7 things i hate about you :lol::lol:

haha, i hope everyone is serious it'd be the video of the year to see what rhys could come up with to destroy the card!! Everyone can donate $5 to see this thing burn!!

My brother manages the top floor of eureka tower, I could go up there and drop it off.............on fire if need be?

What gets me tho, is the other guy (Matt?) KNEW it was a fake, but continued to sell it.

I'm not digging it up (well, if I did unintentionally, I didnt mean to). I mean how many people sent messages, etc?

I'm in for $5 if we do it! Might be breaching some fire codes taking to the Eureka Tower......be funny as hell though!
 
ok lets get this clear. Before and the time i was selling it i truly beleived it was a 1 of 1 i did however get confused on the forums here with peoples mixed feedback. It felt to me everyone just wanted to get on the fleer auction band wagon and give there 2 cents. I confirmed with a good friend of mine whos really in collecting and has more knowledge than me as ive only just got back into it about 4 months ago said its authentic. However even though i still dont know of its true origin i have offered a full refund and would be more than happy to take it back!!

I don't know where your friend get's his info from. It's clearly a fake. I had the Hinrich/O'Neal and those cards are stamped 1/1 not hand written.

Sorry mate it's 100% fake.
