ok maybe not this is what i found

Dark Angel - Sealed 36 Pack Display Box
Each box contains 36 (7-card) packs comprising of:
- Base set cards
- Foil cards (1:6 packs)
- Autograph cards (1:33 packs)

so its 1 per box
i may have to see if cardzone sells them

It probably helps to think about prices of items that have actually sold, rather than just BIN prices...I doubt anyone will be hitting the Alba auto at $888 USD.

The Non-Sport Update Magazine values the Kristin Bell Auto at US$246.00, and the Jessica Alba is valued at US$625.00. There were 8 Autographs in the Dark Angel Series, only the Jessica Alba and James Cameron are valuable, the other 6 Auto's are valued at only US$20.00 each. So if the Auto's are 1 in a Box as you say, then you have a 25% chance of getting an Alba or Cameron Auto, thats good odds if you can buy a cheap Box.

I doubt she even made that much as a bike courier. She didn't seem to ride or deliver much.

At least its a decent way to get a legit auto of a celeb compared to the thousands of fake auto pics sold on ebay.

I agree, this is why I dont bother collecting autos unless I get them personally or it comes from a box of cards. But I do have issues even with box cards as you dont know who is really signing the autos. Some of the autos I seen (most actually) look like chicken scratch and a 4 year old could sign them. I feel bad for Beckett's and PSA that they have to verify signatures that can be fake as anyone could sign them. We just take for granted that the card industry is being honest or getting those taped signatures in the mail are genuine. Ever check out the signatures of some of these players, no two even look alike half of the time.

What I like about this alba signature is its a full signature, which means she gave some merit to the product and that her fans mean something.

I really do believe the better the full signature, the more valuable the card in my collecting.

All chicken scratch card are worth maybe $1.00 more then the base. You might not agree with this, but I would say that because she signed it so well, I would pay $650.00 for the card if that is what its worth.

Besides, she is so damn HOT!

I think the odds would be a bit higher than that, if you buy a sealed case of non sports these days you would be lucky to get 1 rare premium auto (recent X Files release seemed to be an exception), you will usually get a case full of the common autos and other subsets (memorabillia, props etc). At that booked price the odds would more likely be 1 in every 5+ cases..maybe more.

If collation was perfect in a non sports release it would be great to get a set out of a case

also sealed boxes would be hard to find nowdays, and any boxes would go for decent $.

yeh i rang up to try and get a box but they sold out :(
are there any other card shops in melbourne besides cardzone??

actually cardzone are selling 4 of the auto's 55 each but not the jessica alba

same as cardzone :(

you would expect one place around australia to see Heroes, dark angel, veronica mars or some other good tv show boxes

getting them from states isnt super expensive if you get more than 1 box

i used to get 8 random boxes at a time and shipping was pretty decent with some sellers. TOMUNIQUE is pretty good.

As smc2910 said, you should buy from the USA on eBay, you can get Veronica Mars Season 1 Box's on special for just US$37.99 (one Auto per Box + 1 relic per box), and you can also get Heroes Series 1 & 2 Boxes for around US$40.00 each as well. Here's a eBay link to the Veronica Mars Box VERONICA MARS SEASON 1 2006 TRADING CARD BOX - eBay, Other, Trading Cards, Collectibles. (end time 31-Dec-08 11:39:06 AEDST)

yep they would be. A good example of high odds is on stargate auto cards. Stargate Atlantis had 4000 boxes made. About 10% of these had the top 4 actors.
