I could've believed the second story if he hadn't started selling 07/08 Finest about a week or so after it came out. That was what gave it away that he was making these himself.

Thanks mate, remember reading that. Was just thinking, if someone really believes they're innocent of something, they'd go out of their way to defend themselves rather than let it all blow over which seems to be what is happening.

lol, I've been on Hiatus for the last few weeks after getting into Warhammer Online Beta Testing (what a nerd), but nothing has changed this Patrick guy is an absolute FLOG. He sent me a PM basically saying he could beat me up lol and that my PC sucked.....

Yes my PC prolly does suck but on the beating up he might wanna do some research.

When I posted this on HK the entire thread was removed.....hence why I havn't posted there for weeks, different rules for different people it seems.

Once again to sum things up......... Patrick = infatuated by a man in drag, and a complete FLOG.

That is all.

I don't want to get into hating on anyone specifically.....but I couldn't resist this. He has said he doesn't base his life around cards......but yet dedicated a room in his new house he built to LJ and cards. I have a shelf for cards and I'm card crazy....lol. I class myself as a dedicated player collector.....but a room?!?! lol

I just read through every page of this thread, and all I can say is that I'm thoroughly disappointed. I've never dealt with Patrick personally, though I did offer to send him some stuff for free a few months back but he already had it, but I've always loved reading his posts/stories about his collection and meeting LJ and whatnot. He really seems to be living the player collector's dream and people, and rightfully so, myself included, seem to be jealous of him for that. However, just because he achieves something that most of us can not doesn't give him the right to rip people off, which seems to be the case here, and have it just swept under the carpet.

you can also make these by soaking them in boiling water and peeling the back off.

Sorry to be pushy up front, but I thought you were purposelly doing this...as I find it pretty odd you have the same players listed that are selling well for me...I would "NOT" put the statement about soaking these in water in your auctions as that would hurt us both and since my are from uncut sheets that doesn't matter....I also find it odd that you just started listing these on ebay now when I did and even started a new account with the name chrome_proof?

Who are you getting these from? I literally have thousands of these which I have/sold as they come about 100 per sheet and some smaller sheets. Do you have any other proof cards other then these?

No depending on who you bought them from? There are real versions which were made by Topps, but are cut out of uncut sheets like the ones I'm selling. Some of these will be smaller, larger or off centered cut as I have to cut them out with a large paper cutter..Although you can also make these by soaking them in boiling water and peeling the back off...although that boils and bubbles the front of the card from what I hear and ruins the other side...they will also have water marks, stains on them, etc....If you look at all mine they are clear as a whistle with a few scratches from handling, etc...so I can speak for all yours, but some look fake to me.

So since you only have 40 I don't expect to see you listing anymore since you have 38 on now and already sold 30+ others...

No I didnt.

Patrick is such a fake. I asked for a refund and he has told me he won't give me one. Because I called him out on his fraudulent ways he is now mad about it. Guess if you sweep it under the carpet and don't tell anyone about his scam then he is willing to give you back your money as hush money.

Goes to show you how much he will stand behind his reputation and his word. He is a fraudster and he deserves everything that ever comes to him.
 
I think the funniest bit of this to me is how he is defending himself.

"No didn;t make these, I am cutting these from sheets that Topps made" ie: I am buying these out the back door or having a mate steal them for me from the topps production line so I can cut them and sell them.

Either way he;s in the wrong! :lol:
