Does anyone know what the taxes would be because its over $1000?

They almost certainly will, won't they? They need to be able to value the goods, so if the delivery has a value attached to the package of over $1000 Australian dollars, I would have thought it would be fairly unlikely that customs won't charge duty (it is the same theory that applies when you park your car in a spot you shouldn't, doesn't matter if it is only for a few minutes, you will ALWAYS get a ticket). I'm not sure what requirements DACW have for labelling their deliveries, but I'd expect they are obliged to put the correct value on their declaration forms.

i know jake bridges who is/use to be the sales manager there..........if they ship with dhl then they can put any figure on it.........so just ask them to put a value of $500US and you will be sweet

if they ship with usps, then you cannot put a different invoiced price as they have to show a sales receipt!!

Ive contacted DACW with a request re the tax/customs issue. Hopefully will have some info in the coming days.

If we get a positive answer, I will arrange a Group Case buy of one or both products (where everyone gets their own boxes to bust )

That sounds like a great idea.

I couldn't work out how the little people were supposed to benefit in those two deals, but don't get me wrong, I still think it's great of Adam and Dave to be making these specials available.

Not saying im not happy having DACW onboard as sponsors (in fact I was overjoyed), but I thought the idea behind it was that members here were meant to be getting "special" deals on stock and postage.

From what I can see, any ordinary punter can get the same deals from them on the bay.

Hopefully we see something "special" for OZcarders in the near future.

I have bought boxes but never cases....do you end up paying additional Tax when it's over $1000 do you?

Thanks Ryan, I have emailed DACW to find out what's happening there. The prices are under the Premier pricing given to dealers, so i'm surprised by the pricing on eBay and to be honest I didn't check there.

Will let everyone know once I can supply more information!
