Im pretty sure Rucker works away from home as in past dealings with him it can take a few days to get email replys from him and he has not logged in for 5 days so id say thats why you havent heard from him.But im sure is onto it Hes a top bloke :thumbsup:

Latest on the second series. Third week of July and Six Sig Redemption cards.
Jonathon Brown
Gary Ablett Jr
Andrew MCleod
James Hird
Glen Archer
James Bartell.

These are confirmed apparently pulled this from other forum site.. but still unofficial.
 
The following is not confimed but only a rumour. Brown sig is not a medal(coleman) sig but a Vic Captain sig to go with the Mcleod Allstars sig. Not sure if they will be limited to 50 or 60 like other Capt sigs or maybay 100. But if this romour is true and the AFL stick to their guns about that being the only Vic vs Allstars game then these to sig sould be very collectable.
 
this doesnt all sound like good news for geelong collectors.. for their golden year.. as it looks like joel selwood rising star sig and norm smith steve johnson has been bumped.. to allow for all these other sigs..

Also apparently rookie signature cards are limited to 450 like last year with the 17 rookies being involved as Harry Taylor was the extra rookie.
 
I have also just heard that someone has pre-ordered a case of Series 2 for $1800.. I will confirmed this.. So thats 150.00 a box?? yer correct me if i'm wrong.. about the same as last year..

and this might also a discounted as it was a pre-order..
 
apparently that was from a store.. so that makes it look better from wholesale.. but apparently was paid cash in hand..

but that price will vary from store to store.. and will go up and down as they confirm Sig redemptions and other high-end inserts. but that at least gives you some idea of average cost for case....

Ruckers do you have any more info to add.
 
I'd be in for a couple boxes, do they still give 12 sets of promo's per case? :razz:

why doesn't auscardtrader.com.au register for an abn?
costs nothing and takes 5 minutes to get one, then we could just buy from here and a little markup on price, like $5 a box, and that will help pay for site costs, maybe even leave a bit in the kitty to have competitions throughout the season to win a box here & there.

wish select would get there tribute stuff out the way in the first series, can't understand why they feel the need to put retired player up on a perch when most have forgotten them, new flavor please :)

450 rookie cards is too much, 200 would be perfect for our market and then they could have another subset, anything so long as it's different as at the mo' I reckon i can predict the 2020 series 2 :razz:
 
Ey guys, packets 5.95, so boxes will be close to 200, I doubt the All Australian cards will be there, there will be some cards similar to what select realeased in 2006 like Brownlow Predictors, if that is the case, there will be very good cards in about 1-2, 1-3 boxes, HOF update's won't be there, but it is a classic series, only about 2-3 weeks left and the cards should come out.
 
er ville... prices havent been announce yet.. 5.95 is rumour.. but i doubt it is going to happen.. but then you never know with select...The AAs they have had every year without fail and doubt they willl stop now unless they have super valid reason and even then... AA collectors would be up in arms.. as it has probably the most consistent inserts select has released since inception along with the medal cards.. The brownlow predictors might be there.. but doubt it.. HOFS wont be there as they release every 4 years. once they have enough.. for 4 new HOF legends and HOF inductees. I doubt they will have 1 in 3 box inserts.. or 1 in 2.. only 1 per box inserts such as DPS, PREM PREDICTORS, MEDALS. they will have 1 per 12 box sig redemption.. and of course the case card... will just be same formula as they have had for the past 6 or so years..
 
I doubt they will go with the same Product as last years, i really disliked the Supreme's 2007 Cards, even with collecting your team, the only way you could've made money on that would've been if you got a Geelong Predictor, A Bryce Gibbs or a Joel Selwood DPS, otherwise, that was shocking, the medal cards i wasn't happy with one bit, and i think the AA's are just a waste of 1-8.
 
just an idea but what i was thiking with the predictors. with the cases we pull if we get all 16 maybe we can redeem them and whatever predictor you get you get that rookie just an idea as myself i wont be getting all 16 pp.

Yeh was thinking the samething myself .. for those who dont go for the whole set, maybe can put their predictors in and get close to the set.
