Well Guys and Girls, it's been a fun year of putting this set together. I Started with a Gary Payton that I got in a lot of cards just before joining this site, and after seeing a few of Andrews (adhunt99s) maildays of the jerseys, I decided to go after the set myself, of patches...and Base and Gold too (not too far off on base, and Gold is way off. But I haven't chased these at all yet).
Finally the last of the 98 card set came in last Tuesday when Nenad Krstic arrived. I'd like to thank everyone that has helped me along the way, particularly Andrew (Adhunt99) who was my running partner through the chase, moving base jerseys to me as he upgraded to patches and finding some patches for me. Thank you to Norm (ozballer23) for selling/trading (I can't remember) the Paul Pierce and Michael Redd from his PC, former member Craig (Hads182) for selling me a couple of patches, chris154-poland who was a rivel on eBay for a while in his set chase, but by the last 30 we were out of each others way! And he found me the final piece to the puzzle in Krstic, as well as selling me Steve Francis. Thank you also to Bigmawsy from eBay whom sent me the 2nd last I needed, Carmelo Anthony, for free after 1 of our chats! To Cal (Hobbibox) for sending me the Amare for free way back, and also making his Ginobili available to me if I needed it, I didn;t in the end, but the thought was priceless. Also a couple of members of HK, CT2 and fairchild84 for seeing my Want thread and selling me Reece Gaines and Antawn Jamison.
I apologise if I have missed anyone, but this has been a year long, 98 card set chase!
