They say that if you sign your signature enough times, there will invariably be one that looks very different from the rest of them. That blue one that you have jordan23 looks a bit off to me too. The "G" is quite different from his usual signature;
- the 2nd peak of the "G" is usually higher than the first, but not with yours.
- the down stroke of the "G" usually loops to the front, and not straight down and to the back like yours does.
- the loops on the "G" is normally a lot larger and goes through the whole letter.
- the "...rant" normally is centered near the bottom and not the middle.
But like I said, perhaps it just is invariably signed different. But if I were analysing it, I'd say it looks a bit suspicious.
Yeah that's what i initially thought - but i checked awhile ago with PSA Authenticed and they said it was most likely geniune after submitting the pics through to them for analysis.
The Hill blue is extremely rare, i've only seen 2 listed over the past 3 years on ebay.So i took a gamble on it.
They are fairly hard to come across. Was watching the card in the first pic, and that ended recently at a best offer of $180... 1996-97 SkyBox Grant Hill Autographics Blue Auto - eBay (item 330236570234 end time May-16-08 06:50:47 PDT) it simply looked a little bit too suspicious to me.
Any other opinions from any Grant Hill collectors are welcome.
That emerald is super nice man, those are hard to come by with the signature on it unfaded. I recently got the 97-98 Autographics version, no scans yet, but this is the image from the auction, and its in very nice condition too. Got mine for $75, a little higher than usual but he card condition makes up for it. How much did you pay for yours?
