WOW! What a sweet vid of all his slam dunk contests... I love how they slow down the dunk while he's in mid air. Looks like M.J's floating. Can never get sick of his dunks.

Re: The official MICHAEL JORDAN thread!!!!!!!!

Whats wrong with you Mate! First you quoted my post which i received by e-mail and thought you appreciated my post!

Then when I went into this thread you edited it and removed my quote!!!:mad::mad:

Is there anything that I did wrong to you? No wonder there are people here that are not interested in your Jordan promotions...

I also notice that you change the word "god" from your original post and made it capital letter! And I believe that you are making a big mistake there!!! [-X

umm...I'm confused. I don't think he did anything wrong. "I think it's just God disguised as Michael Jordan" was what Larry Bird famously said after MJ torched the Celtics for a playoff record 63 points (which still stands I believe). And yes, it was quoted in capital letter in the press.

A story that might interest the shoe collectors here:

Man says Air Jordans, bike stolen in assault
By CHRIS TRAINOR/Index-Journal staff writer

Though he has been retired from professional basketball for five years, footwear inspired by former Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards great Michael Jordan is still highly coveted.

It’s a fact a Greenwood man learned the hard way Monday night.

Greenwood Police are investigating an incident in which a man was beaten up by a group of six men and robbed of his Nike Air Jordan sneakers and a bicycle.

According to police reports, officer T.J. Chaudoin responded just after 9:30 Monday night to an East Alexander Avenue home, where he met with the victim, a 43-year-old man.

*
The man told Chaudoin he had been riding his bike in the area of Greene Street and Milwee Avenue when he stopped for a moment to talk to an acquaintance, parking his bike in the process.

After a few moments, he noted a group of five or six men came over and took the bicycle. The victim quickly approached the men, who reportedly got angry and told the victim, “It’s not (your) bike anymore.”

As he continued to try and get the bike back, the man said the suspects pushed him to the ground and all began to kick him and beat him.

The victim said that, while he was on the ground, one of the assailants pulled the victim’s Nike Air Jordan IIIs off of his feet and took off with them.

The man said he had paid $100 for the sneakers.

The victim described his attackers as young black men, though he could not describe their features in detail.

He also allegedly said he could identify the attackers if he saw them again.

The man was advised by Chaudoin he could come to City Hall to view a photo line-up of
suspects.
