UD Replacement mail - great gesture by UD!!!!

Hey all,

A few weeks ago i complained about my damaged Stockton/Magic UD Potraits 05-06 auto #3 to 40 on the newly created upperdeck facebook forum. After a couple of posts on the forum stating to Chris Kollmeyer(Brand Manager) that i was very unhappy with my damaged card and wanted a replacement. Chris organised to send another one of these to me and it arrived here today(3 days it took via FEDEX).

It was a great gesture by UD and show's they do listen to collectors opinions or problems with redemption cards.Great job UD!

These potraits look awesome in hand BTW......great looking design and best of all very clean auto by both players.

How did the original one get damaged??

Got damaged by the card sliding out of the jumbo toploader with no tape on openning. This time around they used maximum tape and shipped the 8by10 in a box.

I personally wouldnt talk em up...its the type of service you should EXPECT all the time.
Still... its a start and it shows there making an effort to get the cards you are entitled to in good condition.
PS... ITS A RIPPER BY THE WAY !!

Was a great gesture by UD. It's the redemption replacements that people have problems with I think. "Give us 5 names, and 3 teams of choice".... What a load of crap.

yeah same crap they told me,ive been waiting on 2 redemptions one being from nov 07 and i sent them a email a while ago!

need these 2 for a set

Ok no need to go into OT with that Clayton.

Word of advice maybe if you aks politely they will listen. Chris has stated he will listen to any problems with damaged cards, unhappy redemptions etc etc. But i doubt he'll be able to satisfy most members problem's. Mine i reckon is a rare case he ended up happily replacing.

So you also did the right thing and returned the damaged card. Shows good faith on behalf of the collector.

I got that other 1 framed recently(put scans up later) and it ain't that noticable the damage inside the frame.

its ok jay just gunna ask the question cant hurt,im gunna wait because i need these 2 cards and i dont want replacements!

just hurts that its a 06 product but there clearly bring out newer stuff with these players!
