Have a great weekend everyone,

Mike.

Very nice stuff there mike - in good news i've 'completed' (bought but not arrived) my search for the GIBSON tag ;) it's 32 here in canberra already :(

Ahh the love for the old fellas lives on. No mean feat as Easy Ed and the Ramsey from your other mail are really getting on and not likely to sign for many more years. Too bad they scan like crap.

Great maildays Mike!

nandalinnaung - Thanks for the nice comments bud :D
 Even though I have been told this, I really doubt it's true. People only think this as I actually do regular maildays.
There are big collectors out there that choose not to do this, as they tell me "Mike, there are too many idiots in this world they will screw with your auctions. Your shouldn't do them".

adhunt99 - Thanks bud :D
Really? Awweessoommeee!!! Thats a huge name to do, as there are a few Gibson collectors out there, hence there is always a fight for them.
32 is toasty, but at Richmond, it's toastier :(

chadjaja® - Thanks :D
Yeah, it seems the "green" on the older Celtics guys don't show up as well on my scanner. Mind you, none of the cards really do. Photo's are the way to go for these, makes the cards look so much different.
But I still go for scans, as they are still 95% accurate in what the cards look like and also, makes for sites easier as my pics are actually straight!

they are some great cards! how many full names have u completed now? it seems like at least 4 or 5?

The Shannon Brown patch looks so good in the red/gold, sets off the card well. Awesome Legends as usual.

loafic - Thanks for the nice comments :D
How many? Well, i'm clocked over to the 15 mark now

Nash13 - Thanks Matt :D
Glad I could share with you all.

DL42 - Thanks man :D
yeah, it seems that if the patches have 3 colours, it really makes people like the look of them. Well, thats what I have found anyway.

aussie2al - Thanks champ :D
Yeah, the whole Chronology thing has been great for me. Have given me a life line away from Exquisite land, and it's been great pieceing together smaller goals rather than whole sets. Love chasing theme's and name tags.

Another tremendous mailday Mike, do you try and upgrade if you find any sequential numbers?

Thanks bud :D

Nah, no upgrades.

The reason is purely of the fact, UD did not do they in any order. It was just random. Which is why no one else has managed to score a full auto name tag in number order.

It's all pot luck, and you have a better chance with players that have shorter names. But even then, it's just down right pot luck.

I'm just after a full name tag, and that is that really.

Surely it must be possible with Allan Ray, Rudy Gay or one of the 4-letter names ;)

Yep, waaaayyy more chance with shorter player names thats for sure.

Well, Allan ray hasn't signed his cards. And who knows if he will. So, we'll see there.

I have yet to see a Rudy Gay collector do it yet though. All the ones i have seen completed have been random numbers :-k

Mike,

I don't think anyone here would do such things to you..
for me, I haven't got even got one letterman patch auto.. LOL.
they are out of my league....

well, just keep some set chase into private and then, u can display the complete mini projects such as letterman or less than 15 cards set.. coz for u, it won't take so long to complete even a big set..

thanks for sharing with us
