Yea I just posted this in the upcoming trailer thread but I felt it deserved one of it's own.
Behold, the new official trailer for The Dark Knight :D I'm a little excited..

Looks like Heath Ledger saw The Crow before commencing the role....also a bit of early "crazy" Mel Gibson in the performance....looks good!!

Keaton - the 1st Joker.

Wasnt the other one (Batman Begins) a prequal to that? Maybe this is a sequal to Batman Begins?

Farout talk about confusing.....

I think, in terms of timeline, the new one crosses over with the 1st Keaton one...because if you remember the Joker (Jack Nicholson) was "created" when he fell into the vat of acid (or something like that!!).

that's cool preview...

Ledger acting is still under Nicolson's influences.. especially mouth movement parts... i was hoping it would look completely different joker

This one is sequel to batman begins...

we have to forget everything when we watch Bale's Batman, because Batman Begins is the first one..(this Christopher Noland + Christian Bale combo is another Batman comic adaptations that involve Gary Oldman (Lt. Gordon)... )

am i the only one who thought batman begins was very average, hugely overrated. i mean, compared to the shit heap that the previous 2 or 3 movies were in the batman series, BB was a friggin masterpiece, but standing on its own merits it fell short for me.

it didnt blow my mind the way something like sin city did...now THATS how you adapt a comic book.

I got half wood when I saw this last week!

And the new Batman series has nothing to do with the Keaton series. At the end of Batman Begins all the inmates escape from Arkham Asylum, and future commisioner Gordon tells Batman to track this prisoner down who has a calling card which is the joker card out of a deck of cards.
