Anyone going to Live Gigs/Concerts?

IRON MAIDEN will be coming to Australia early next year for the first time in more than a decade. I most probally will be going but i think the band will need wheelchair access to get onto the stage and around.

BFMV was incredible btw, they rocked out all their big hits and covered Metallica's "Creeping Death", to a packed out and vocal venue. They also played a song which will be on thier follow up Album to "The Poison" called, Shoot, Aim and Fire which imo is probally Bullet's best work to date, yes its more badass than Hand of Blood.
They are a great band and I reached the front row of the pit for the final 5 songs including their Tallica cover which was played faultlesly.
I can't wait for their next album to be released as from what i've heard so far it will be their most HEAVY work to date.

going to see the Butterfly Effect again this weekend.
Also going to see Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God on the 17th and will be going to this years BDO
Trivium is heavily rumoured in playing. Muse and RHCP have confirmed!!
Trivium are the most talented musicians going around :)

its a pitty triviums latest offering sux hehe.
and maiden sold out pretty damn quick

I perfer Ascendancy also but the Crusade was still good but not brilliant. Im seeing them AGAIN :v: in November with Machine Head. I want to go to Maiden but i am fearing it has sold out and Quickly too. I will be defiantly going to the Big Day Out again aswell and RATM are rumoured to be headlining the festival.

Iron Maiden don't f**k around either, they tour with a massive road crew plus there own stage set up/lighting/pyro/sound etc
all the east coast shows will go off with the larger venues, bloody Perth gig is at the Burswood Dome:mad: i hate it so much, 6,000 people max i think, Maiden are gonna laugh at us

plus im gonna catch my mate's band 'The Birds of Tokyo' a few days after i get back from my surf trip in Indo next month:thumbsup:
i think there the best band in Oz right now, check them out everyone they are playing all over the country starting in Brisbane on the 4th Oct- Perth 20th Oct to promote their new single "minor war"
Buy their CD too 'Day 1'

Caught up albeit briefly with both Travis and Dave. Awesome Gurge gig though, and yes, i did get mistaken for Quan about 3 times during and after the show. Haha.

Yea it was awesome Gaz, I dropped my thickshake on the way back to the car, I didn't even finish half of it.. :( It was a cool vibe at the gig, we actually spoke briefly to Ben from Regurgitator who was in the audience watching the Chinese guys (New Pants). I asked him to make sure they played Kong Foo Sing, and he said 'you betcha'

Yeh i saw that thickshake, looked so inviting and so full!
Kung Foo Sing was awesome, i do like the new album too. Its different but in a good way.
I went with a couple of friends and they freaked when i started bouncing around the place for the old stuff. Hehe.
