:mad: Had the semi finals of my local league tonight and was absolutely gutted by the refs. In our league to quicken the game up we have no free throws so if its a shooting foul you get two points which is usually sweet, but tonight the refs decided if we even farted in someones general direction that was a shooting foul. I AM GUTTED. Although its a social league its filled up with old rep. players so its pretty competitive and to be totally screwed over by some ****ing bias 'impartial' refs is utter shit. To give you an idea two of our players were fouled off, one in the first half and looking at the score sheet after there team only got calledfor three fouls. Once again I AM ****ing gutted. I have never ever been so obviously cheated in all my life. :mad::mad::mad: We lost by eight and they scored twenty two points due to 'shooting fouls'. Imagine darkos speal at the referees times four, thats how pissed i am. Gutted.
 
I think you should give them your best Darko impression but this time in English :lol:. Nothing sucks more than being ripped off by a dodgy ref.
 
Uuuummmmmm, I may have done a little darko when i walked out of the gym. Not to bad though because some of the kids I coach were in the stands.
 
Hahaha sounds like my game last night. Just how consistantly inconsistant they were, you couldn't adjust! Both teams were pissed off! One minute they call a foul for a guy getting a finger nail on the ball as I went to the hoop and the next your get both arms hacked, clocked in the face and snagged over the shoulder and put on your ass (all in the 1 drive and motion) and nothing is called :blink: excuse me?

I very nearly asked the ref if she was the trainee ref and not the trainee being helped by the other ref...but refrained cause our league has 3 refs total...so they'd remember us/me... hahaha
 
lol nenjabin thats like our league. Its to small a community to have a real go at someone.

And ace e the kids I coach are all street kids so they could probarly give some pointers on how to cuss someone out anyway lol
 
I hate the way referees interfere with the game. I was going to say that at least in my softball league its harder for them to deliberately screw a team... but all the lpate umpire has to do is constantly change the strike zone so you don't have a clue what he is calling. Or in one event I remember... I was on 1 strike 2 balls when the pitcher pitched what was called a ball... so I had three up my seleeve but th epitcher argued with the umpire and she changed the call - except she DIDN'T tell me... so I let a strike go as it was borderline and I was looking for the walk and then got given out... that was such bulldust! I got revenge on that cheating whinging pitcher later in that particular game hitting the go ahead run in with a double.
 
That sucks man, I know what you mean though, I can relate to that through playing grade cricket for a few years. Ultimately one of the reasons for not playing again.

I can actually understand all that now AJ after watching some baseball, LOL!
