Max - you are a great member here, no one has ever had a hassle with you i think these guys were just worried because of the "no-contact" .

Some may have overreacted but to be fair to them they had a right to know. Its a shame if ya go mate, im pretty sure alot of members here will agree with me.

Guys after further reading this thread the decision is ...Oz guy you are sorted got your acc and money is transfered back !! Lerroy please claim your money back and foolish you to please !! Cp3 your boxes are here but i will keep them and give you your money back as i dont want to deal with you no more!!!
Also after all this has been fixed ..magicman or hill33 whoever is mod here ..please delete my account as i dont want to be member here no more.

WHY DO I GET POINTED OUT...., I was confused due to you saying you sent them me the following day we last talked... I said nothing about stealing my money just wanted to know where the deal stood...... If anything I thought AUSPOST had fked up I didnt say anything about you doing the runner.... For my bit, the majority of people would be very disappointed to see you leave. I for one, have dealt with you on several occassions and the experience has been nothing but A++.

I reiterate, don't take any of this personally (although, I can see how you could), this thread just reflects the paranoia of people dealing on the internet with a face they may not have met, a breakdown in communication, and a misunderstanding given the timing of the events.

As my wife said, "a week, that's nothing, some people have a life outside basketball cards". Guess that sums it up nicely. Hope you decide the hang around as losing contributors such as you, is a big loss to this board!

Maxx I dont care as you dont have any of my money but its simple...If your dealing with other peoples money/cards you stay in contact OR let people know you wont be around for a while, these guys have every right to jump to whatever conclusion they see fit. So dont try coming out swinging when your CLEARLY IN THE WRONG and firing this back on members who gave you their Hard-Earned money and trust....it's YOU thats in the wrong...so just give them there money back like ya said...I'm sure most of them wont want to deal with you again either, I know I sure wouldn't...one only has to look at ya ebay feedback to decifer your recent history.

I agree that communication could have been better. But for a trusted member to organise a group buy and disappear off the radar for a week to ten days is not the end of the world:

From a non-collectors POV:

"a week, that's nothing, some people have a life outside basketball cards".

Remember, the time and organisation that it takes collecting money and getting orders happening! Agreed, communication should have been better; but look at Max's occupation ... no internet, phone out of range, family/children, away for work (maybe at short notice) ...

exactly so why dont you take a bit of your own advice and pull your head in a bit to

let all the involved parties work out what to do and stop agravating the situation

ive dealt with max once and its been no probs. i hope i can again. i know how much effort and time it takes to organise a box buy and it can be real time consuming.

to max, if you do believe that leaving is the best move, then so be it. good luck in the future. if you change your mind after a bit of time hope to deal with you again myself

ps, as a person who works alot with transport. truckies have to leave at anytime without much notice. some people do have stuff outside to do. sometimes notice cannot be given.
