Just wanted to mention coz I'll be around less in the next few months so I'll let Magic and Hill deal with more of the shit LOL now that I got my elite mens racing license updated yesterday and full support and sponsors for the 2007 Melbourne to Warrnabool road race :v:

300.3kms of hell against all the big boys from the Tour De France and the rest of the best in one of if not the oldest one day race in the world and toughest too I might add.

Thanks to the boys at SHM in Melbourne, crumpler bags, inline/phantom couriers, alchemy bikes and dirtworks

I haven't been around as much lately as I've been amping up the km's and my knees are paying for it and hopefully in 6 weeks time I'm tapering my training and fully raring to go! Banana

3 race starts of late for 2 wins (one by lapping the field) and one narrow loss Cool

Just got to keep in touch with the main group/breaks on the flat start and hopefully can then kick it in when it gets to the undulating parts of the race where I can make them hurt Laughing I'll need a minor miracle or major crash to do it though

Then the National road titles in Jan for the green and gold jersey in Ballarat.

The national crit champs are on in Brisbane the day I get married Hard choice that is Previously got a top 20 finish in the crit champs a few years ago in Geelong.

All this pales in comparison to my mate Belli who is at this moment over in the US preparing for the world solo 24 hour world mountain bike champs

Good luck Chad, and the only advice I can offer you is to steer clear of stray dogs on the riding track....we have all seen the footage from the TDF of riders coming unstuck when Poochie runs out in front of the riders.

Well after three consecutive days of over 200km's each I could do with a quiet day today. Will probably reach the 1000km mark for this week. A day out north into the headwind set the tone for the week. And I'm missing training partners since I've moved and could do with some help but everyone is obsessed withe beach rd for the upcoming around the bay in half a day.

I'm most likely on the cusp of a herald sun tour invite this year I hear but I'll have to turn it down as time off work isn't something I can have at the moment :-(

No glory for me on the news each night and it starts in Matty's home town too this year.

Now to get going for the day. I'm onto a can of coke to go with breaky, thats not a great start LOL Looking a bit thinner at the moment too.

Oh and my mate Belli was coming third at the World solo 24hr mountain bike champs and lost some water bottles. Its Bloody hot over in California at the time and he ended up out of the race whilst in third and on a drip in hospital. Still a top effort and now we wonder what could of been.

Well done Belli! Now put some weight on dude!

Oh and Mark for a 6th in a stage of the Tour of spain two days ago. Another great ride.

LOL its a stimulant though We actually drink coke during some stages instead of water, carb drinks etc.

and fat in coke??

Its only 160 calories and I burn that up in a nano second

My calorie out take on some days lately according to my meters has been about 6500 a day. Don't think a coke is going to kill me

Caffeine. Just as much as your daily or less than your multiple coffees a day ;-)

Its all fuel dude. Just as long as its not the only fuel. LOL
