Gday guys just need some advise. I;ve never used a money order before but recently i did. I sent it off to the person not friday just gone but the friday before. Now i havent heard back from this person after a couple of emails (althought i did get 1 back about 4 days after i sent the money order). So i was just wondering, am i able to have the order tracked and cancelled? Any advise??

Can have them cancelled or checked if they are cashed. But don;t do it until you are sure they haven;t sent. If they try to tell you it never came, check it and if it's cashed, they;re lying.

Yep- i sent 1 to the wrong address once! If you have recipt and stubb- take to P/O and fill out a slip and if not been cashed- they send one to you! They can check if its been cashed and cancel it!

yeah i just want to know if the person has recieved it yet, but i havent heard back from them. Pretty good guy from what i can gather but this is the most i've outlaid in a long time so was just getting a bit worried

We talking International or Aussie Post?

Aussie Post can be tracked, and they need ID to cash them.

International ones can be tracked just as easily, but take some time. I can only assume they need ID to cash them???

You shouldnt have any problems. Just as along as you have kept the stub/receipt from the MO, you shouldnt have any problems identifying if it's been cashed or not.

Yep, if you get no response tomorrow, I'd can the MO, and get a refund, which you can do if you've got the Receipt.

Then send them an email asking why they can't contact you.

You said it's what, 2 weeks?? That's pathetic!

there is a phone number on the back of the stub.ring it and put the money order number in and it will tell you if it has been cashed and when and at what post office.hope this helps
tony :D

Also, next time you may want to consider sending the MO via Registered Mail. I did that for one of my purchases a while ago, where I wasn't too sure about the seller and the MO being for a decent amount. It was just a little extra piece of mind for me.

Good luck with what you decide.
