I'm really not too concerned about content in retail boxes.
The argument used to be that so much high end product went begging, until the Titanium brand appeared.
So Titanium, the harder to get premium product, was for collectors. Retail boxes, available at retail level (N/A's, Coles or Woolies and servos) were for the casual buyers (mum's & dad's buying for kids).
I used to binge on loose packs after the initial box outlay, but soon realised that was pretty futile. As well, I've been the victim of many a "dud box", but you just roll with the punches. We all know it's a bit of a lottery.
So this is what we wanted back in the Select and early TLA days and now we have it.
The only guaranteed way to deliver guaranteed content is to buy cases. That's what the dealers do.
I can't do that so I buy what I need/want from dealers.
So as much as you might need to scratch the itch with a retail pack or two (or more), we all know the deal.

Makes Elite the value proposition by far. I doubt they come out the gate at $240 this year as that's only $50 more.
At least I had my question answered in a roundabout way. Obviously the deal on TLA is for 2 boxes and an album for $350. Just needed a plural to makes things crystal.
I think I'll pass on Traders after this review. I thought it was rough even with one retirement card.

IIRC production run is up (albeit by a currently unknown amount) but the quantity of Legends available is the same. Makes sense they aren't being pulled as frequently
