PSA case issue with thicker graded cards - Newton's rings effect

Anyone know if PSA has issued info saying this is not going to be a long term issue?

I'm going through the process to see if their new cases will be fixing this issue (says starting May 2024) and deciding if I have to crack it out or not. So unsightly! Damn shame. I wanted the graded jersey numbered addition

I'd just send them those photos and ask them if they would reholder it for free. Worth a shot.

I can't believe this passed a QC check.

Unless it was an issue that develops after like a week or 2 - like when in transit or back in AUS - not sure

Their new cases are supposed to address humidity and light refraction issues so it will be interesting to find out more

Well I posted above then thought, hmmm, I'm gonna prove this by shining light on it from another angle to prove it's moisture.

So I did and then proved it is actually so called Newton's Rings effect lol


anyway - I'm not too proud to be wrong

STILL - a new case for these thicked cards is needed as it just looks flat out terrible in hand no matter what the cause is. They have a new standard case thickness coming out this month I believe that will not have this problem but no thicker cards yet.
