The only value product they have in mlb imo is 2022 A&G and to a lesser extent Archives. The Bowman stuff is far too expensive. I hated myself ripping Bowman at $300 and lost on every box.. At $600 + I'd be dangerously depressed.

$1400 for a HTA of 2022 Bowman is totally crazy. You just buy a raw Elly 1stBowman auto at that price. Not sure what his prices are but I'm sure you'd get one for $1400....probably with change. The odds of hitting him given that they are now short printing the better hits would be 100-1 or worse.

I'm the king of the backflip. After my wax purchase today I have a $25 voucher to redeem. Looks like I might have to go in a break after all.
Like Paul Keating said backflips are fine as long as they are done with a certain amount of style and panache. Not sure that applies to this but I can dream on. It won't be the last time I have to eat my words.

Crazy those promotions. I still think RV has acquitted himself reasonably for an 18 year old. And at $5 for a BCA one can't go wrong. It was a good spot by you.
Ethan Salas should be in 2023 Bowman Chrome and that is going to be a $500 base auto for sure. Maybe $800. Very few 17 year olds play AA.
If I were investment advising I'd buy a Holliday BCA at $400 or whatever they are. Orioles are going to be contending for the next 5 years and he's close to being called up at 19.8 years of age which is Trout/Machado/Soto territory.

Trout is going to keep dropping imo. His career is closing in fast and may be over much earlier than expected. Ohtani's the one. Auto's are too pricey but a decent non-auto rookie is still affordable - especially given how good he is.

Fanatics and Topps can stay away from AFL. That is horrible news. Select do a great job imo. However, I'm all for Topps setting up shop here and selling direct to the public. That would be huge. I envisage a Myer size shop at every Westfield shopping centre with floors of wax. A Bowman section, etc.
