48 hours - seen it a few times but no for many years, Walter Hill movie and has actors from one of my fav movies (The Warriors), didn’t realise it was Eddie Murphy‘s first movie, Raw 80’s political incorrectness fun movie can’t wait to get time to watch part 2.

The Whale 9/10.
Its gripping and boring at the same time. Hard to explain. Kept me wanting to watch and paying close attention. Maybe just a bit slowish every now and again and basically shot in one location so not visually striking which is perhaps where the boring part comes in

White Men Can't Jump (2023 not the original)
Tricky one to rate...
Directly compared to the original I'd give it a 3/10
As a standalone movie and if it wasn't called white me can't jump 5/10
Was pretty average, comedy was really lacking and story was very predictable

I got 10 -15 mins in and turned it off.
Probably should have given it a better go, just was not enjoying.

Climb aboard and hang on, this doesn't let up from start to finish.
Carries on at the exact point the first one finished, so no problems following along.
Good cast and lots of stuff goes bang, boom etc.

Dumb & Dumber - 8/10 - watched with my daughter who loves weird movies and comedy stuff - hilarious
Surprised at how well it stands up being from 1995
Decided to watch again cause Bill Simmons did a rewatchables podcast of it with Jennifer Lawrence which was really good

Ive only kept watching all of them as ive gotten to this point so not gonna stop now lol. Sad really
Im about an hour or so in to the movie now and it has gotten a bit better. Should get to finish it tomorrow as having the day off as did two days worth of hours today
