Q & A Thread

How does an COMC auction work when it runs through ebay? Do you have to have the funds in your COMC account? How do you get it transferred into your COMC account?

anyone with a CCD scanner got any tips?

Epson Perfection 1260 scanner - VueScan software - looks really like foggy or misty when scanning

Settings 600 dpi, Restore Colors, Restore fading, Heavy sharpen, Descreen - only difference between these 2 was I changed Color Balance to Auto Levels and Media to Color Text from Auto

Was hoping for better finished product!

Man that doesnt look like CCD off those scans...something is definitly off. try just using the windows scanning tool instead of vuescan. CCD at 600dpi shouldnt look like that.

also see what happens when you scan to pdf. if its the same somethings up.

Anyone know why these are called Retrofractors and aren't shiny? Wouldn't you usually assume shiny with "fractor" in the name?

If you're buying you can link your eBay account to your COMC account.

Then if you win a COMC auction you go to the 'Auctions Won' link in your dashboard where it will take you to a page where you can pay for the auctions won on eBay.

I've always used COMC credit but I think you can link another payment method. Once paid the card shows up in your inventory.
