Optimum 2022

Agree. But the only cards on that list that takes any effort at all are the draft pick sigs. Surely we can ditch some of the others and do something a little better. Just my thoughts.

Yep a replacement was my first thought as well but the DPS variants seem a lock going forward, the print to demand draft pick and Rising Star cards will very likely remain a staple, as will the rookie cards in series two.

The obvious replacement is the Supremacy rookie series, but I suspect the costing of producing an RPA product over /25 base cards would push RRP right up and really risk buyer fatigue.

Agreed. The list doesn't HAVE to stay that way.

Sneaker reseller groups are ready...

This will be the worst yet.

I reckon I don't even be able to get some. Looks like they're smashing it harder this time going by eBay.

I think this is sold out within 20 seconds

Absolutely, Select are toothless in this regard.

Nothing stopping them from buying all the stock and blocking accounts.

Not just select. All these sites are only as strong as their sales system.

I guess they don't care right now. I don't even know how sites prevent this.

By the looks of the QTY on ebay, I expect under 30 seconds.

Probably needs to happen. The backlash will be extraordinary to watch. I feel for non SCC members who won't get anything.
There's been backlash since Dominance 2019 and Select haven't been able to do a thing about it.

Not very difficult to identify group members and blacklist them at all.

I have been saying it for years give control back to hobby shops and legitimate re sellers but select have gone the opposite way and selling more online with each release, Wangy has now been given the flick so select actually don’t care who buys anymore, I’m done with AFL After this release

i know i should not get all hot and bothered ....but
it totally s#@t"s me that outsiders just stroll in on drop day and casually scoop up stock, flip it and casually walk off into the sunset with a fat pocket full off $.
The fact that not one cent off that profit will never go back into the hobby, just hurts.

So stores like RGV can break at crazy prices and Sunshine can open case after case and have five of every short print single?

Pass.

How does one get 7 boxes before they're even for sale? 4 SCC accounts?

Gotta love the way these groups fudge the truth to justify their ridiculous monthly subscription fees.

They conveniently fail to mention the normally applicable $550 eBay fees, the shipping Select charge per order (4 orders minimum is another $60), and the cost of shipping seven boxes worth over $4000.

Interestingly I can't find that sold listing on eBay, nor would a promoted listing have zero fees. Sounds like more propaganda these groups are well.known for.

Would rather see legitimate business doing what they want then a heap of dickheads that no nothing about cards flipping boxes to breakers who then pass the cost on to us

RGV break at those prices anyway. Sunshine opens every box he gets and hurts anyone opening their boxes.

I'm all for finding solutions but simply handing out more boxes at wholesale prices to these kind of guys isn't the answer.

In some cases, these sneaky flippers score free Ebay sales, so forego the final-valuation fee onset.

Although you're right, that wouldn't apply for all of them.

Quoted for truth!
