Few new pickups for my Fleer Retro Lebron collection. These 2011-12 1961-62 style inserts basically never show up anywhere, but these 3 all appeared within the same month. 
Now I have 4 out of the 5 Lebron variants - hopefully the last one appears for sale before 2030

Playmakers just arrived. I feel very honoured to bring this milestone card to Australian shores. Arguably the greatest insert of all time.

This post is probably more valuable than my entire existence. I panic spending a couple hundred on a card, these would maybe cause a fatality
Yeah I've been quietly picking them up for a few years now while they were somewhat affordable - not so much these days!
I remember the first one I got was the Lebron scoring kings for $78 because I thought it was cool to kinda have Lebron in one of my fave insert sets ever, then it just kind of went from there. The prices of that card - and that set in general - now are just insane.

I have previously mentioned that I am slowly quitting the hobby. Getting too expensive to collect the way I like to collect. So I better start showing something instead of just commenting. Here's my contribution today.
Dude that is a sick and very valuable collection. Are these sealed team bags? If you decide to fully exit the hobby and let these beauties go, hit me up.
Another set I love and would really want to complete, but likely never will. Sorry, not sticking to thread rules, but my excuse is that I have not posted for a few days, and I have to somehow get back, after some of those outrageous posts these last 24 hours!
With these cards, I love the gold signatures, I love that they are Team USA, I love how it is quite a low numbered release (and in the end they all never had that many Team USA Jerseys each to wear to the patches are gonna be quite rare in themselves), and I had to get something from the Inaugural Eminence Set for the collection!
The only thing I didn't like about this set (but given how expensive they would have been, not too upset about it), is that there will never be a Michael Jordan or LeBron James card in the set.

I hear you mate. I really rate the look of eminence. But I don't see myself ever owning one solely because there is no mj or lebron

I just went to check mine to make sure it said Jordan hahaha. I love the silky smooth set (I have one too) and agree it was an incredibly cool die cut, until I got my hands on the linchpinsGotta love die cuts.
First pic is the coolest die cut I have ever seen despite being nearly 30 years old.
