Well sort of. Now I have ALL THREE Celts 1933 goudey sports kings from one of the greatest sports card sets of all time. The first ever examples of Celts in a mainstream set. Doesn't put me far off my goal of every Celts card from 1933 till the mid nineties either. :v:

This one has great colour and decent condition and will do for now as a filler till i get around to upgrading it. Any crease automatically knocks it down to a psa 1 but its still got great eye appeal. And his name is Lupchick NOT Lopchick. Its an UER card.

Nice to have some mail as its slowed down these days. Hope you enjoy some vintage flavour.

Nice work Chad, quite a feat by the sounds of it! Nice looking bright green Celtis jersey on card too. Would that be a little out of the ordinary for Celts cards of that era?

They did wear a lighter green back then than now and its a carryover from when they were NY based and not in Boston. The Eddie Burke is the better of the three player wise but the Lupchick commands the best prices. I gave up trying to find a psa 6+ and spending $350US + on one for now.

Great pick up Chad! Thats an awesome addition!

What's next on the want list?

Cheers
Matt

Thanks guys. PC additions are always rewarding.

Next up is a 1957 Frank Ramsey RC psa 7-8 but the budget at the moment makes that hard  Every point the grade goes up the price does by a few fold. Then i will have all the 1957 topps and prime players all graded too.

I have to re buy the two Russell 61 fleer I sold but I made a killing and don't regret it when they paid for a holiday and new 8 person sofa

Then its.....well done :D Then onto every oddball variation :p

Nice one Chad.
I was trying to read the back of the card and it sounded like this guy was on quite a few winning teams hey?

don't worry about grading.. the card is fantastic and it was produced before world war I, and still in good condition, nice addition indeed.. congratulations..

Age is no excuse for condition so yeah i will pick up a prime example in the next few years when i convince a collector to let one go. This was just an impulse buy to tick it off for now.

No Timberwolves

And if you think that was keyword spamming you didn't notice all the keyword spamming in the post in white text so you can't see it!

CONGRATS on your third Goudey Sports King...What an Awesome card
COOL pick up there.
I love the Sport King cards they are very sharp in colour which appeals to me.
