2022 Official NRL Thread (Spoilers/Rumours/Game Results/Discussions etc.)

It's a miracle..................

He just wanted off the field and the green whistle to help forget the night.

In all seriousness though I'm glad he is OK you would hate to see anyone with a career ending injury.

Cheers
Ross

Amazing how he went from having a compound fracture as reported to potentially back in 3 weeks...... glad that he will be back soon and in the end was a good result for him.

Shannon Boyd retires aged 27. Injuries and the game changes just have no place for a bloke of his size and limited minutes.

Wrecking ball in his day though.
I heard his leaving was enthusiasm based not injury based. A rare case of having played for Australia but never NSW.

IMO it will go down as one of the worst buys in Titans history and there's been a fair few. Approx $1.8 million for about 6 hours work over 3 years.

With Boyd, James and Cartright moving on and if they could also get rid of the Ash Taylor, Peachey, Wallace and Peats contracts by 2022 , wow even after picking up Fifita they will have loads of some cash to splash.

I think they should go hard after Corey Norman.

Not a Corey Norman fan.😉

Nrl have opened a can of worms charging Jessie Bromwich with the "Hip Drop Tackle"
It happens 50 times a game by every player. How do you think munster did his medial ligament each time.

Have the donkeys got enough heart to fight there way back from the spoon??
They have showed glimpses of what they can do and can fight there way back. Either way it has made the fight to avoid the spoon interesting.
Out of curiosity does anyone know if broncos have ever gotten the spoon?

They've never had the spoon. Their previous worst season was 2013 when they finished 12th.

2010 when they came 10th was the only other season they have finished below 8th

If that’s the case, that will or at least should give the players some extra motivation to avoid being that team to break that streak. I’m expecting Eels to have a hard game on there hands.

Surely with the Sharks and Dragons sharing a ground this year the Dragons fans will all jump on board into the finals 😂😂. Or not
I'm still trying to recover from hearing the Sharks song played on the hallowed Kogarah Jubilee turf after you beat us there in Rnd 12.

Supporting you guys in the finals may be a stretch to far ;) perhaps we can settle with not death riding the Sharks to loose!

Cheers

Don’t worry , I doubt you’ll hear that song too many more times this year .Just making up the numbers unfortunately.
