Well I got to catch up with aussie2al today. Was a real pleasure. He brought his E-XL's out for me to have a look at. I brought out nothing.. I left them in Townsville. Stoopid me.

It was a shame I didn't have to much time to stay and talk longer.

All the best aussie and will catch up next time when I get back down to the big smoke. Might get a box and bust the sucker..

Thanks Tracy for letting him come :)

And you guys didn't invite me? :woot: I suppose I do live in NSW
Sounds like you guys had fun!

It would be great to have a get together Brad

We did not have much time,so it has a quick catch up.We do plan on organising something better next time. Not sure when.
You would always be welcome to join us mate

I've never really asked the question - where do you guys actually live ?

tss501 was down from townsville for the weekend.

I live in the lockyer valley, near the town of Lowood.

Micheal & i met up at Redbank(collingwood Park),Thats about a 40-45 min drive from me.

what about me :(

Hey ducky,I was going to contact you,Hill & Jon when we organise a next meet. And who ever else that wants to catch up.
We were not sure of it happening til it happened & we only had a small time frame.

It would be great to see all your collection's & do some trading maybe(and listen to a few tall tails:lol: )

Hey Al - I know where you are. I used to play cricket in the Ipswich comp for Redbank and travelled all over the place to play - places like the Marburg Showgrounds etc etc. I've moved over the Northside now but my parents still live in the Western Suburbs.

Sonny and I once spoke about getting a card show up and running in Brisbane - I just haven't had a chance to get it happening as i've been stupidly busy. Things are finally starting to settle down enough to perhaps look into it further - even if it isn't a show but just a swap meet to start off with where we have a few tables setup for people to put their cards and swap etc. Eventually if dealers wanted to come along and sell as well that would be welcomed .. I know up this side of town rental of a hall for half a day isnt that expensive (about $50-$60 for 4 to 5 hours from memory when I checked out rental of the Sandgate Town Hall and this includes tables and chairs)

Beat me to it - would be good to have a meet!

Kerry Anne Kennerly might be up for it and bit of re living the past too!

I know a date where we can all get together and you get free food and beer too but its slightly formal. Im sure the other half wont mind trading and the odd box being broken LOL
