I bought tickets to see Sparta in July. Should be awesome. My current music infatuation :)

Anyone else going to see anything of interest?

I'm going to see The Draft and Against Me! on wed night! The Draft is members of Hot Water Music and they are sick!

Also buying a ticket to Fall Out Boy tomorrow, pretty emo/poppy but great fun to singalong to, plus they are being backed by Perths very own GYROSCOPE! :D

Fall out boy!? i thought you liked real punk...[-X

Will be seeing Bullet for my Valentine in September. They are 25% emo but their frontman Matt Tuck, i read was inducted into Kerrang's top 100 guitarists of all time after just releasing an EP album. Their are alot of good guitarists and this is coming from a well respected magazine. SInce than though they have released their first album and have had every show they have played sold out.

my sister saw the gunners on sunday night, she said they were awesome and played almost all old classic stuff

You'll have to let us all know how it was because the wife & i are going to see them in Sydney if they turn up. I couldn't imagine them being as good as they were in their prime.

Will do mate, in Melbourne they don't come on until 10.30pm and it doesnt finish until around 12.30am. So goodluck to everyone getting home as there is no public transport at that time. I also have the set list if you want it.

Haha! Honestly I wouldn't have gone, but Gyroscope put me over! Havne't seen them in ages, and they don't put on too many shows for the home crwd any more, and that would be there biggest gig yet! So why not I said! At least its not Good Charlotte!

I'm puzzled as to why the Public Transport isn't available.

I went to see AC/DC a few years back at Rod Laver and I'm pretty sure the Public Transport was running. That's pretty bad for all attending this gig.

It's only a short hop step & a jump away from Flinders St which should be running.

It was on Ticketek saying to please organise alternate travel home as there no trams or trains only taxi's and that wait will be very long.
Lucky I'm staying over the road.
