HI All,

I found my old card collection from back in the day and just hoping someone out there could give me some sort of an indication how much I can sell the set for. It contains all 220 card some are signed including David Barnhill, Nathan Brown, Mark Coyne, Ricky Walford. Gold cards include a signed Mark Coyne, 2 x Brad Mackay, Steve and Kerrod Walters. Great condition been in card sleeves in a folder for all these years. Thanks!

It was worth a post to see, I will definitely keep them for my little man, there is more memories in those cards then the value of a bottle of wine for 25 bucks!
$25 seems kinda low...they can go for that much, but ive also seen them go between $40-100. or selling them off as singles or team sets or sub-sets would definitely get you more than $25.

$100?

I’ve got 7 sets so tell me who wants to pay $100 and I’ll move them tonight lol.

I’ve sold 4 sets over last few months and they gone between $18-37. One set sold on eBay a few days ago for $5.83 lol.

Team sets maybe, but good luck selling them any quicker than a few months at best.

a quick e-bay search of completed listings will show that one sold for about $100 ($120/best offer) a couple of months ago. along with another one for $50. ridiculous it might be, but the team sets/sub-sets also go pretty regular for $10-20.
i know they can go for cheap, but i wanted to let the guy know that he doesnt have to be 'lucky' to get $25.

$120 best offer accepted could have been $30. No way of saying it was $100.

Whether it’s $25 of $50 I don’t think it matters either way anyway, I don’t think either amounts were what he was expecting.

so funny, this he is a she and yes an massive amateur when it comes to cards, Steve clinked/stalked your profile and saw you sold a few of these cards far from the set on the 21st of June for $100 lol!!!

Sorry what?

Love to see where I sold a set of 94s for $100..

Are you are referring to the ‘uncut sheets’ where there are two cards joined? Yes I sold 10 of those for $100. Because they are uncut sheet cards, and very rare.

Completely different to a normal base set, of which there are still probably thousands around.

true, theres no way of knowing exactly how much it went for, but its safe to assume, that someone who has the BIN @ $120 isnt gonna accept $30...and the difference between $25 & $50 is 100% increase. all i was saying is that $25 could be considered low...especially if he breaks up the set.

See my post above....

You were asking for the price of a Base Set of 220 cards.

NOT the price of ‘uncut’ cards, which are rare, and worth a lot more than the 10c a Base card is worth..

Anyways, I’m out..
