people who don't leave feedback

i make a lot of purchases on e-bay and when i receive the cards i have purchased.i always leave feedback for the items i have received.in the last 12 months i have left over 550 feedback for sellers and i have only ever left 1 negative feedback.i have not received any negative feedback in over 15 months of buying cards from e-bay.but lately i have had a few sellers that have not left any feedback after i have taken the time to leave them feedback.i normally wait a week or 2 if if they have not left my feedback i send them a nice e-mail saying that i took the time to leave them feedback so could they please take the time to leave me some.and i still get no response from them.i know it is not a big deal really but it just pis*es me of that they happily take my money and expect me to leave them feedback.and then it seems that they don't give a damn.like i said i know it is not a big deal but it seems to be happening more and more.does this happen to other people from this site and what do you guys think about not getting feedback.

Yeah, I feel for ya Tony... I used to be bothered by it, but I gave up caring after awhile.

The whole feedback system is shit on eBay. If the seller is happy with the payment; ie payment is received quickly without hassle, then they should leave positive feedback... not wait until the buyer leaves positive feedback and if they dont they give a neg in retalition... THAT shits me

it annoys me as well but i just keep messaging them, and if that dosnt work i have a look at if they are selling more and i tell them i cant buy of them until i get feedback, it works very well .

I know how you feel from a buyers point of view.

Whenever we make a sale, as soon as the transaction has been made we leave an instant positive for the buyer because we trust our service & it gives the buyer a little reassurance that they will receive the item in the described state.

it's good to hear that a seller is willing to stand by there product and there service.and if more sellers looked after there buyers like you they would not have to worry about receiving a negative.and i will admit i have never had a problem when i have dealt with you cowboys.

Whenever i buy an item & make the payment, it's good to receive the feedback straight away for a little piece of mind knowing that the item is going to arrive in good condition.

Everytime feedback is held off until we post our feedback, it gives me a bad feeling that something isn't right.

Another grey area in Ebay's system that needs adjustment.

that's always been an issue... i got a feedback yesterday and i already forgot the card.. coz the transaction was in early feburary.. but at least, the seller finally gave me feedback hahaahha...

i am yet to receive at least 20 feedbacks from purchase in last 12 months..

for me, i am quite simple... if the seller is not ethical, i will not just buy next time, whatever the seller is selling (unless they sell dwight howard exquisite RC at 100$ to me ).. coz they received money, they received feedback and they don't want to leave u one in return.. that's their loss..not ours..


But majority of the sellers are very nice and classic.. that's why I don't mind buying around... coz i would never buy 1 grand stuff online hehe, ebay is for pleasure.. bidding is fun and getting stuff is always making me happy..

what do i feel about not leaving the feedback back?? I don't even bother messaging sellers nowadays, i have never left negative feedback to anyone and i will never leave one in the future, coz i mainly buy cards and i never buy cards that's more than $100 unless I know the seller very well... so, feedback is usually very fake... so, it doesn't really matter..


maybe it's because i am from different background.. for me, some seller can do this to me one time, but there will never be next time.... so, i am fine with that..

so, one time, u can forgive and forget, trust me, karma will never ignore stuff like this.. what goes around comes around.. maybe u will just not experience what will happen.. but it always happens....


at least, great sellers like cowboys78, theflyinggerco, bigsarg7 and others (those who never charged me postage every single time) are always around... so it's still nice to buy cards..

thanks for the kind words linn.don't worry i won't loose sleep over it.it's just that it has happened about 3 times in the last month.and it is starting to really annoy me.as it only takes a couple of minutes of there time.

I hate it when you leave feedback for the seller expecting they will leave it when you have and then they don't leave it. I think it is rude for a buyer to not leave feedback because usually they don't even let you know if the item has arrived..

Tony, I am a buyer & seller on eBay and I totally agree with you....it IS annoying ! I don't tend to worry too much if I don't get it as a seller but as a buyer who ALWAYS pays quickly and communicates well I would expect feedback to be left - Especially if I have already left it

Agreed. I had a guy 2 months back that finally told me 'I wait 40 days to make sure the paypal payment goes through, then leave feedback' (only said this cause I asked him about shipping on another item of his and when he resonded I queried why no feedback)
I counted the days, realised it had been 51...51!!!! So told him and never heard from him again and he never left feedback! Seriously...

I had an idiot quote me 80 dollars for postage of a graded card...

There would have to be 50 cards I haven't got feedback for... I rarely care about it, but if the seller is a prick I think long and hard about leaving feedback.
