Funny how TnP are months away from a release and we see one of the cards, Select are literally weeks away from release and we’ve seen absolutely nothing from them from series 2. Hoping for a great series with last years issues ironed out. Looking forward to it.

I have seen an image of the signature cards for the Sydney Sixers - Ellyse Perry and Steve O'Keefe.

Ok just had some info from Neil at Tap N Play who said we can share the following:

• CA and BBL back to being a single set this year. 200 Base Cards & 200 Silver parallels
• Earlier release this year (late October)
• 68 specials including 12 Signatures – some of the signing include Tim Paine (Captains Auto), Shane Watson, Glenn Maxwell, Ellyse Perry (pic) & D’Arcy Short and other leading stars
• Six Hitters – is one of the new specials
• BBL Duos are back - Eight new cards

Have to say they look really nice cards, if foil numbered will be even better!

You would think they will be foil numbered surely. The Ashes signature cards were foil numbered but the BBL signature cards were hand numbered. The Arthur Morris patch card I've got is just a printed number, not foil printed. So there's a bit of a mixed bag over the past few years. Just wish they would foil stamp the numbers for everything from now on. Can't wait to see what the Tim Paine Captain signature card looks like, the Short and Paine sigs will be high on my want list. Really hoping the patch cards make a comeback as Select ditched them in the AFL this year.

TnP certainly sought and received some value feedback and ideas for this release. If they implement a few it should be solid.

Price is confirmed as $4.99 per pack with 10 box cases.

Although the official release date is Oct 23rd some retailers will not stock them until late October – they include: Woolworths, WW Petrol, BP, Coles Express and 500 larger newsagents. A complete list will be posted on our website closer to the release.

A max of only 1000 Albums will only be available from:

• Tap’N’Play directly (with subsidised Postage)
• Preferred Hobby outlets (Diggaz, Jaja, TC&C)
• 500 selected newsagents around Aust.
