I'm upset for Brayshaw, I'm upset for Gaff, I'm upset about everything about this. I would have taken the Dockers flogging us by 100 points if this whole thing hadn't happened.

What class from Mark Brayshaw. A lot of people - especially many in the media - could take a leaf out of his book. It's easy to see why all of the Brayshaw kids seem to be outstanding young men. I hope some can stop absolutely laying into Gaff now. The act turned out horrible, the person isn't in the slightest.
I don't generally give two hoots about his opinion on anything, but Garry Lyon made a good point last night: The extended Brayshaw family has been embedded in professional sport for decades. Mark Brayshaw is the brother of James and the son of former First Class cricketer Ian "Sticks" Brayshaw. They understand culture and character and how things can just happen on the sporting field. It's not to say that their attitude is right or wrong, just that they perhaps are more weighted towards the "acceptance" side of things to begin with.
