It has been every year, don't see why they'd change that now. They always do extras for master sets/extras/etc. though.

not unless he has a small hand, it looks like a bit more than half a base set, maybe 2/3.
therefore about 130 cards.

That’s a bit average, they should be promoting this sort of thing with pics of the cards and signing session and building the anticipation for the release.

That is a beautiful card.

A lot of gold signed autos look really messy though. Even in major releases like Game of Thrones. If it is gold I hope the signature does the card justice.
