How cool would it be if they did the three primary colours for each team haha (and those that dont do a multcolour version (e.g ruchmond black para, yellow para, black/ yellow stripes para)

ps Feel free to disregard another petty speculation again however bottom line is we know the top ends will not be inclusive of GWS and Gold Coast but I DO think Select will find a way to include them somehow and anticipation is a far cry considering NRL series II breakdown has already been revealed almost 7 weeks into the actual release date. Even if I'm wrong well at least Certified release might up-value just a little

They actually need to not as you will see with the NRL release, it will be picked apart before it gets released and the excitement will be completely gone. Pre-sales will be through the roof and by the time it actually hits the market prices will have plummeted. Much better having a shorter preview closer to the release date.
Still love to know where you get your ideas from? If that was the release, I couldn't imagine the cost of each box! Think you've gone way over expectations there.
I like that Select don’t release info so far out, we will see a few teasers in the coming weeks but they won’t release a checklist till days before, it stops the presales that pretty much destroy the market, I bet people will be over NRL Elite before they even open a packet
Easier said than done you could just get someone else to buy it for you if they tried to stop supply, I like how they build excitement with the sneak peek every week, I have been reading the thread on 2018 elite, flyer is out you know what your getting still 6 weeks before it’s released but it’s now getting picked apart which is fine as debate is good but I could see people being over it before they even get cards in hand
I agree. And i think there are ways around the pre-sellers. Release teasers of cards but don't say if it's numbered or what the odds are, don't give any info at all, just a picture. I'm happy for the checklist to be released only a week out but i personally want to start seeing some of the things coming up a good month out to start building that excitement. Right now I'm keen for series 2 but not overly excited as we have zero idea what's going to be included in the set. Actually that's a lie, we know the name is Legacy and we have seen one of the signature cards which hasn't changed from the previous few years so nothing special there.
Well not the picture we saw on Instagram, from memory it looked like previous years Certified sigs. Not saying there’s nothing different, just saying they haven’t released any teasers yet. Hard to build excitement when the general collecting public have no idea what’s coming. I don’t like the full checklist released a month out like the NRL, but surely Select can start to get some stuff out by now.
