1968 daily mirror promo team sheets

picked up a few of these a while ago.
These sheets were put in wire frames out the front of the newsagents, milk bars, etc to advertise the daily mirror for the days news.

yeah Moz, for some paper thats 50 yrs old this year, they are remarkable.
Wish I had more wall space, they would look great framed.
They are going back in the tube.

That merge must still hurt

Though they would be great to be framed ( plus you can see the love hate relationship between two clubs) all ok good fun

Mate the banter between the local rivals is what gives the game its passion.....tribalism!!!

I basically grew up in the shire and love it and mean nothing serious by my comments just having a bit a fun.......
