The Australian cricket non-official thread!

Sayers was removed from the 13 man squad for Mitch Marsh to come in. Bird was supposed to leave the squad in Perth to join the sixers for BBL but has been asked to stay with the team so good chance of playing next test.

Just who WAS the moron that wrote this a few weeks ago?

"As to the result: I think England might win, to be honest. Australia’s selections (and non-selections) seem quite peculiar to me. I really fear that embarrassment might follow."

Honestly...the bloke clearly has no idea and should never post his predictions on a cricket forum again.

Anyhow....I'm off to be publicly flogged!!

:-)

Mate, it's a good reason I haven't been around all day lol.

Anyway, its Chunder time. Thank gosh the Ashes have been won. Some BBL before Melbourne.

Mitchell Starc confirmed out. Very unfortunate for him, last year’s 2nd test against Pakistan is the only Boxing Day Test that Starc has played in since his debut.

Very happy that Smithy has finally won a toss and we're batting first. Given all the talk about how flat the pitch is hopefully we can pile on the runs today. Hoping for Bangers to return to form with a big score!
