The 217 is the winning predictor sets. Generally only 3-5 cards in set
 
No idea what ESP are actually doing but these are the select predictor sets

You only get 9 cards with the predictors lol

So basically you can redeem a predictor grand final set which is 9 cards that in my opinion look pretty shit ( people paid between $100-$400 for them unless they were lucky enough to hit one )

Or you can buy a 20 card grand final set for $80 delivered =D>=D>=D>=D>

Or you can just grab the $999 loose change in your pocket and grab a signed set.


Pretty sure the whole predictor market just fell on its ass like the 2017 elites

Id be stoked if got 9 cards with the predictor. Would only be expecting around 5 cards

The signed set for a grand would be a great buy if they weren't sticker autos.

Have been able to get predictors for $50 each for a few months now on ebay except for the odd team and storm

I just reckon for the prices people have paid the 9 cards are simply not worth it. The signed set would be beautiful and to tell the truth I happily would of bought a set but the fact now they are just signed stickers is just like running salt in a wound. I actually can't believe how they are doing them it seems really wierd

Yeah I agree . I never heard they were going to be signed , nor did I expect it . Also believe people in some cases were paying big $$$ to try for the /20 gold sets ?Sucks for the people who assumed they were getting 9 storm sigs for under $100 in my case .Side note : I am going to contact TLA now the storm have won to enquire if my missing #22/217 has been sent in by the dirty rotten grub that "misplaced it"!!!!!!! Doubt they will tell me anyway ? Maybe if I send the Ebay purchase info /Paypal refund details / admission of shill bidding email when caught out (thanks to another member on here's help),they might look into it ??? I assume they wont lol.Did get another one but had to settle on a much higher number as I wanted to send away for the gold set . Which STILL hasn't arrived !!! :mad::mad:. First world problems lol

Its it sounds too good to be true....

If you got the refund from paypal and the person then redeems it all they will say is it arrived back return to sender after the refund went through so not even worse stressing about

Keeping the gold set?

Was more angry about the bs story as I purchased a dragons one a day later and arranged to have them sent together to save postage . Was sent the same tracking number for both and only one was in the bubble mailer ?? Got the #22 relatively cheap , as higher numbered storm were going for a lot more around that time and I believe he did it to resell at a higher price .May of changed his mind after I mentioned I was keeping a eye out on eBay and other sites for a seller haha. Didn't expect anything as I did receive a Paypal refund , was more curiosity then anything. Probably will keep the gold set when it eventually shows up , however your the first to ask and if interested I'll let you know if I change my mind ?? Cheers

Ben, if you had read the back of the card properly, you would have seen that, or asked someone on here, they would have told you otherwise.
That is why I made the comments back earlier before the top 8 was realized that teams not in there would be worth zip.
I feel sorry for people that paid big money for all there predictors.
There all worth zip except for melbourne.
If you send in a melbourne predictor say number 217, you should get back set number 217.

Yes I new it was a mini premiership set and the corresponding number I had. The reason I expected it to be a signed mini premiership set was cause I was told by 3 seperate people it was a mini set compared to the full signed set that is released like the sharks one last year and not a mini set to a full $80 standard set ( comparison ). Oh well at least I know for next year and will learn to ask important information from you guys who will know.

It was great to see the predictor concept brought back in but the approach was flawed. Having them in the first release of the year was great but unless you hit the winning predictor they are numbered logo cards. The only reason they created the 20 gold parallel sets was because of the initial blowback from collectors.

Moving forward they should be inserted at 1 per box and every card redeemable like Select. The winners for the mini premiership set and each other club for another theme such as top try scorer or enforcer.

If these remain at 2 per case then the winning mini premiership set should contain a signature card, captain or if relevant Churchill medalist.

Big 3 makes sense, addo-carr and kafusi tryscorers, vunivalu winger of the year + leading tryscorer, so I would've replaced Chambers and McLean with Scott and Finucane (the other tryscorers)
