Future Force 2017

Who did you buy your boxes from as it sounds like the case has been searched.

Hahah nope it was 6 from the same case in a case share and 2 from another share. Seller a legend and would never search a case in this lifetime hahaha

I am just firing at blanks on this release lol should have just brought a bloody case like i wanted to lol

But i have had my luck in other releases so such is life

Well lets hope you hit something nice in whatever you buy next mate. It's funny you know, the more you buy and have no luck then the closer you are to hitting something big haha. After my last box of Future Force I said to myself it I hit another gold then that's it in this release, if I had hit something nice I would have felt like my luck had changed and was going to go for another. I'm just looking to buy what I need now.

I only just realised there is a Rainbow Parallel set in this years Future Force. Let me just say it was not obvious by looking at the cards! Had to go through all my cards again and separate the rainbows from the commons. I can't believe Select didn't number the rainbow's differently.

They didn’t number any of the parallel cards differently. And yes the rainbows can be tricky to spot. I knew about them and nearly halfway through my first box I thought it was weird I hadn’t pulled one until I realised how much they resemble the commons. I had already pulled a few without noticing.

Not only did they not name any of the parallels differently, but they also named the 3 different sig inserts the same, "FFGS".

Select got it wrong, in both ways in the same product

I've only pulled gold sigs so didn't realise that. That's a bad one. I feel like the same numbers on the parallel cards is a deliberate numbering, but don't think the sigs is deliberate.

I know this has been discussed before but surely the young guys can stick to one signature style for all the cards and perfect the signature later on. Most I've seen are like the gold card pictured second.

I can confirm this having pulled a Gold and Platinum as well as viewing images for the Green sig.

hmmm.... not a good look. I might now chase the autos that match.

I'm going going off eBay listings but can't see too many like that platinum longer style sig, most are the gold shorter version.

Wait are you saying that different signature “styles” are being used on the platinum and non-platinum cards ? Or is the James Worpel a one off - perhaps he was getting tired and decided to shorten the signature for the last lot of gold cards??

Something cool which is related, was listing a whole bunch of cards on feebay and noticed that the sheehan selects from last year are now relevant.

Some of the players in the set that were draft this year are

Jack Higgins RICH
Sam Hayes PORT
Lochie O'Brien CARL
James Worpel HAWKS
Charlie Spargo MELB
Darcy Fogarty ADEL
& Hamish Brayshaw WCE :hearts:

I'm sure there is more but they are the ones i have. :) I'm betting a few of us might have to go back and pick one up. Thankfully they are cheap as chips right now.

I think someone stuffed up because if you look at the checklist from the select website they state "Future Force Platinum Signatures FFPS1-30", but then the Gold and Green both have FFGS1-30 listed (perhaps a colour other than Green would be better for future card numbering)

And you'll no doubt be able to add Tarryn Thomas to that list next year. Expected to go fairly early.
