Just recently found this site. I have never been a collector but that is about to change. I recently purchased Series 1 and 2 2017 Topps baseball cards. I have bought trading cards over the years but I have never owned a complete set of anything. I wish I'd kept my old Scanlens VFL ones from the early 80's ( not that they'd be in good knick as we used to throw them against the wall, closest one wins the others' cards) but I do have some 1994 NRL series 1 cards which I'd like to make a set from and I have AFL teamcoach cards from 2014-2017 which I will fill. I won't become a serious collector, though, as I think that signatures ruin the card - even though that's where the money is. Happy collecting/trading everyone.

Hi there, I put together Topps 1,2 and update this year and loved it! Great set. Hope you continue to enjoy collecting

Just an update as I can't edit my original post. I didn't realise how expensive it would be to fill complete teamcoach sets. I only have 2 2014 starwilds and if I were to collect the other 16 cards that would cost me $500. Add in the magicwilds and the outlay is way more than I'd anticipated. I have decided to sell all my 2014 stuff and concentrate on filling 2017.I have just purchased 2 boxes and 5 albums. Same goes for the 2014 NRL Series 1. I'm selling it rather than trying to fill it. My original post saying I would fill 4 years worth was a bit optimistic in view of the prices. There some big money involved in just completing 1 set, let alone a handful.

It is an expensive hobby.
