So it’s the eve of the Ashes and I can’t quite believe that it’s finally upon us already! After months and even years of speculation and politics around the series from the pay scandal to the Ben Stokes saga and of course more recently, the selections, I’m looking forward to see the cricket do the talking.

I for one believe that it’s going to be a close series with good, passionate cricket being played. Both teams are desperate to win and I feel that as always with the Ashes, it’s going to be a fiery series.

I'd like to see a close series with a good contest and I can't wait to spend the next two months watching Ashes Cricket!

Surprise, surprise...in the squads, they had Wade. No mention of Paine. LOL.

I started PSSA cricket for my kids' school this year.

I had one of them tell me he played for Australia. I just called Junior and Hohns.

Tim Paine dropped a catch that should of been taken off James Vince from the bowling of Lyon... Maybe he's not the best gloveman in the country after all!
