kong: skull island - 7/10. pleasantly surprised. was expecting the typical CGI camouflage over a terrible movie, but it was actually pretty good.
trainspotting2 - 6/10. my most anticipated film of the year. same cast, same director amazing trailer, but overall a disappointment. seems welsh may have been missed.
the founder - 6/10. kinda interesting. never knew the story, but not surprised really. can see why McD's is the way it is...
free fire - 5/10. maybe i missed something, but this was just boring basically. an hour and a half long gun fight with mediocre witticisms in between the shots.
passengers - 5/10. meh. average story with so-so acting, but some of the graphics were astounding.
CHIPS - 6/10. nothing special, but worth a few laughs.
nocturnal animals - 8/10. intense is the best description i think. maybe a little flat in the end, but overall, it really drew me in.
the accountant - 7/10. interesting enough. not quite like all the other secret agent films, but not that different either.
