on a side note been waiting for Lemony Snickets a series of unfortunate events to start on netflix for months, didnt even make it through two episodes. Slow, boring and the acting didnt do it for me. 0/10 to be honest

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - 7/10

Firstly let me say I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series of films and books.
This is not the quality of that series, I did nevertheless enjoy this movie.
It just lacks the same feel as the Harry Potter series, just seems a little bit forced in the storyline.

I watched this earlier today too. Once again agree 100% with rating and comments.

Only thing i will add is that i really enjoyed the characters/actors, thought the choices were great. Also seemed to be two story lines in one, much prefer if they concentrated more on the animals/beasts side of it

Patriots Day 9/10: The first hour, hour and a half of this movie is magnificent. Dies off slightly for a bit and then picks back up. Some very touching moments in this film being based on the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

Arrival - 9/10 - love Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, great performance by Amy, had me hooked the whole way, fully into ET life, planetary conflict, time perception etc, loved it.

Underworld Blood Wars - 7.5/10

Fans of the franchise will enjoy this latest outing, Kate Beckinsale reprises her role as the incredibly sexy Selene.
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie, although I am a huge fan of the genre ... oh did I mention Kate Beckinsale is in it, extra point for her in any movie.

Good story driven action movie that finally gives wolverine the MA15 that this definetly deserves. Have to read up on the bad guys comics again to flesh out the story a bit more, don't think they flesh them out enough for my liking. X-23 / Laura steals the show.

Well worth a watch, felt the acting was a little forced and going by the calibre of the actors involved, that is saying something.
Still recommend giving this a view, if you are into the Marvel superhero movies.
