I'm not a huge patch collector but noticed I had a few decent ones lying around so thought I'd whack this mailday together on a day off with the comfort of air-conditioning while the string of 41 degree days continues unabated here in SA....
Carl Landry TC Blue Patch /25 - what the heck happened to Carl Landry anyway? Where is he exactly? Could definitely help a title contender...
Ben Gordon TC Red patch /49 - Another guy who seems to have disappeared after a quick fall from stardom...
Devin Harris SP Threads patch - all I can say is chunky double grey stitching! Impressive
Danny Manning TC Camo patch /25 - Liking the camo finish but the patch itself is a little lack lustre....
Thomas Robinson Die Cut Luxe Patch /25 - Possibly the worst team to get for a patch, it's all pretty black and white really....at least there's a few curves, corners and stitching to it...
Bojan Bogdanovic Die Cut Luxe Patch /25 - Better player than T-Rob but one of the worst patches I've ever seen....you can see how some shape makes a difference.
Frank 'The Tank' Kaminsky Abs Mem TOTT patch /49 - Couple of uniquely distinct patches on display here, not exactly sure how they're in keeping with the Hornets jerseys but hey, I just needed some Frank the Tank in the collection.
Delon Wright Abs Mem TOTT patch /49 - First thing I'll say is that you shouldn't mix drinks and you shouldn't mix patches with things like game used ball pieces and towels. Panini have started to refer to guaranteeing the 'player worn/used materials' which is a bit of a cop out imo. But the three legit patches which are on there are absolute stunners. Multi colour, multi break and absolutely stunning! Delon Wright has a bright future, just needs the minutes to shine!
Sam Dekker Abs Mem TOTT jumbo patch /49 - love the jumbo patches and this has some nice shapes, breaks and stitching. Would have preferred an extra colour or two though.
Michael Redd Elite Threads /50 - Not a high end product but definitely delivers some decent patches and product. Can't argue with a team coloured patch with stitching. A player I probably should have made part of my PC...
Michael Redd Elite Patch /50 - Check out this bad boy of a patch! Multi colour green, red and white in what I'm dubbing as the 'parquetry patch'. fave patch in this mailday by a long shot
Tobias Haris Immac Patch /50 - Magic patches aren't the best but at least all the team colours are there blue, black, white and silver. It also highlights why the uni on the pic should match the patch in the card, a real conundrum for team collectors. Nice sharp auto though.
Kyle Lowry Gala Patch #01/10 - ebay 1/1! Love the 3 distinct Raptors colours and multiple breaks. I do like the shimmer finish on Gala cards too, noice!
