Like the Brownlow Predictors the clubs with favoritism (Sharks, Storm, Broncs, Cows) will start with higher prices but until it is revealed what a winning predictor will get you I can't see the prices jumping. If it is just a numbered team premiers set then I can't see them fetching more than $100. If there is a signature for redemption than obviously more.

I don't think that is certain at this point. The unsigned jersey patches from Elite last year were about 1 per case and those didn't go above $100.
Admittedly, we don't know what exactly you'll be getting should you have a premiers' redemption card. If it does have a signature card or something really neat like that then we will definitely see the price of the redemptions for premiership frontrunners increase. We also don't know if you'll even get anything from redeeming non-premiers cards which would see prices for teams that have less chance of winning drop even further.
Prices will probably fluctuate throughout the season as the premiership odds do as well.
A big consideration in the pricing is how many predictors get busted.
With Traders being such a mass produced product (1800 cases, not sure how many are opened for starters and album packs) I would imagine that many will be safely locked away in sealed cases until well after 2017 and by then, unless the predictor is for the 2017 premiers will hold little value.
Look at the value of 13 Traders YG's and 16 Traders SAS. Not many available and prices stay high, the predictor prices will be very interesting!!

Not knowing what it will redeem and then with it likely to be only something for the Premiers is not the way to promote what should be a good idea. I think Predictors were an after thought and not well considered.
Making it something like in the select days that redeems something for all teams has ensured the Select predictors are still collectible even for the sh^ty teams even now. Who will care about a 2017 St George predictor in 2018 and on, they will be as much as a flick card.

What would you want it to redeem for the non premier teams if you could choose?
I use to really like the top try scorers. Would also be happy with a beat moment card.
I didn't mind the top try scorer theme but it got a bit old as they used it in Classic, Strike & Dynasty. I enjoyed it when the theme was mixed up, Captains, Playmakers, League Leaders and then Enforcers.
One thing is that it will need to be a decent set and individually numbered to justify the predictors being so hard to find. I am excited at the potential!!
