Pat cummins got through 15 overs in one day at a second XI game last week and he was bowling with some pace. Hoping he is named in the shield side for nsw this week and then back to test cricket - if cricket Australia allow it.....

Cummins would be a god-send.

I just can't believe a bloke who is in the 120-132km/hr range can be Australia's third "quick".

If it was for Starc and Hazlewood, Australia would be stuffed.

NSW needs to start nurturing some more quicks. Get a tall timber quick Academy happening in Western Sydney.
 
If Joe Burns plays the next test I will be dumbfounded. 2 terrible performances from him this test. They should add a Bancroft to the squad. Or maybe an Ed Cowan? I reckon he was hard done by and would love to see him back in the setup.
 
I'd be very happy to see them give Bancroft a go in the next Test instead of Burns. Burns struggles against the swinging ball, and with the next Test being a pink-ball one, Bancroft is more likely to be able to grind it out and bat for a long period of time.
 
So, 7 runs in 6 innings between Burns, Voges and Ferguson this Test. Would not be surprised if none of the three play in the next Test.
 
The Australian cricket team has had its tyres pumped up for too long.

Have to laugh at Chris Rogers on ABC. Sucking up as he is in line for a CA job.
 
With one stroke, Lyon scores more than Ferguson's two innings lol.

Well done South Africa. Australia are worse now than 1984-86. Woeful, hopeless and lost.
