Joel Embiid thoughts & showoff

hey guys,

I haven't followed the 76's previously, but with Ben Simmons being drafted and also Joel Embiid finally playing after injury, I've been really enjoying watching Joel play, so I thought I would see who else has an eye on this guy and also thought I see who has picked up some of his stuff.

I don't have a lot but got a couple of nice RC's of his I thought I'd share.

He's impressive. Already exceeded the lofty expectations I had for him entering this season. Would've been the drafted no. 1 if not injured.

I've picked up a few cards early on; Prizm refractor rookie (paid $2 at the time), three Panini Hoops NBA Draft cards (Released at Summer League, two graded, one raw).

And this /49, paid $100. One sold recently for ~$250.

I agree with you about a horrible team, but the numbers are anything but ok.

Above average at a minimum.

Ok, so i just looked at the minutes he is playing and yeah, you're right, he actually is putting up some pretty good numbers considering the minutes he is playing ha ha

He is also displaying some great foot work and shooting for someone who hasn't played ball in 2 years. He is also a monster compared with the other C's I've watched him go up against so far.

Great so far but when he starts playing more minutes and back-to-backs that will be the real test. Huge dude, inside/outside threat, runs the floor for the chase down blocks, great to watch, hope he has no bad luck re health!

Haha, all good! This season should really just be about development given Simmons' injury. But he's definitely showcasing some potential and as KB. said, footwork and shooting touch.

Barring some sort of injury, which is of course a concern given his history, he could possibly exceed his comparisons.
